The Marathon Juicer employs sensor technology to automate the reverse gear function and protect the machine from overload, prolonging the life of the motor and parts. The Marathon Juicer has a voice function, which tells the user which process it is undergoing (these announcements can be switched off if you prefer).

Powerful Motor

The Marathon Juicer's motor will allow you to juice harder produce quicker, without straining the motor, due to it's powerful motor capability of 2/3 hp compared to 1/4 hp of other juice extractors.

Power is measured by watts, not by RPM's.

RPM's measure the number of rotations per minute The higher the RPM's, the faster the nutrients from the produce are destroyed by oxidation.

The Marathon Juicer has the lowest RPM of any juicer ... just 70-80 RPM.

This ensures juicing with little oxidation and yielding the highest nutrient and enzyme packed juice.

Wide Choice of Juicing Screens

The wide choice of juicing screens makes the Marathon Juicer equally convenient to use with all types of produce, from vegetables through to wheatgrass, delivering the best possible juice quality. Juice from the Marathon Juicer is intensely flavored and very smooth in texture. The ingenious design of the Marathon Juicer eliminates the need for pulp pressure adjustments when making different juices. The Marathon Juicer's two part juicing screens are easier to clean and the assembly process is simple and straight forward. The Marathon Juicer's blank processing screen further increases its versatility, allowing the Marathon Juicer to produce nut butters, purees and frozen fruit "ice cream".

Independent Testing : This test was performed by the private company in Australia and the following chart is an extract from an extensive juice study conducted in May 2003, to measure the actual output of juice excluding any foam content. The figures shown are the averages of 9 x 1kg test samples of the same produce for each machine, and took over 500kg of produce and 160 hours to complete. This test can be done by anyone, and similar results will be achieved. Actual extracted juice volume may be greater or less than above figures, according to the quality and hydration of your produce.
